The Egg Industry Center has transformed several of the speakers’ presentations from the cancelled 2020 Egg Industry Issues Forum into webinar-style educational sessions that are accessible from the Egg Industry Center Egg Forum webpage.
“While cancellation of the Forum venue is unfortunate, we feel it is in everyone’s best interest to minimize the spread of this virus,” said Dr. Richard S. Gates, director of the Egg Industry Center. “We are so fortunate that our sponsors, partners, speakers and registered participants graciously allowed us to move forward in this new way for 2020.”
"Each year the Egg Forum posts presentations from a majority of our speakers to our Forum Archives section of our website," said Lesa Vold, EIC Communications specialist. "This year, we will use this same venue as a launch pad for the virtual Forum presentations."
The Egg Industry Center is looking forward to returning to our normal Egg Forum format in 2021. The 2020 Egg Forum was cancelled in an effort to reduce the spread of COVID-19. All registrations, and its associated ventilation workshop, were refunded to registered participants as of Monday, March 23.
