Farm Credit Mid-America has partnered with the Egg Industry Center to create a unique networking and celebration ceremony highlighting the 15th anniversary of the Egg Industry Center (EIC). The celebration will highlight the center’s 15 years of production-facing research, market reporting and industry education.
The EGGStravaganza will take place on October 25 at the 2023 Egg Industry Issues Forum in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Egg Industry Issues Forum is an annual education and outreach event organized and facilitated by the Egg Industry Center located at Iowa State University. The goal is to update as well as increase egg farmer and allied-industry awareness on the latest developments and priority issues concerning the U.S. egg industry. This year, the program will focus on sustainability, flock health, emerging research and global market challenges.
A critical part of learning is processing what you have heard. To facilitate this, EIC works to provide time for networking discussions among egg farmers and allied industry members. These opportunities allow the industry to discuss what they have heard, learn ideas from each other, and establish new relationships while nurturing old ones.
“Networking has always been an important part of our event,” said Dr. Richard Gates, EIC director. “However, this year’s expanded networking EGGStravaganza event would not have been possible without the leading sponsorship from Farm Credit Mid-America.”
Egg industry members are welcome to attend the Egg Forum and EGGStravaganza event by registering at www.eggindustrycenter.org.
