Ventilation plays a critical role in ensuring the performance, health, and environmental quality of modern poultry production. As the egg industry continues to investigate conventional cage housing alternatives, including cage-free and free-range operations, ventilation challenges are growing more complex. In addition, disease pressures such as Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza (HPAI) and other diseases already affecting hen environments further emphasize the critical role of ventilation in maintaining bird health and performance. 

This virtual forum can help expand your knowledge and initiate critical dialogue and collaboration on ventilation in each of the following areas of expertise:

  • Poultry producers who have already implemented various practical measures to improve traditional ventilation systems or adopted innovative ventilation solutions for enhanced bird comfort, performance, and health.
  • University researchers who have conducted work to improve the effectiveness of new ventilation system designs or enhanced technologies, and who offer practical management solutions within existing systems.
  • Equipment suppliers who work directly with customers to commission new systems and communicate the proper use and function of ventilation components.

Strong partnerships among poultry producers, researchers, and equipment suppliers remain essential for the industry's future, ensuring the co-development and application of effective ventilation and indoor environmental control solutions. Come engage with us through this virtual event to enhance the management of poultry production environments and disease prevention while helping ensure long-term sustainability for the entire industry.

ADDITIONAL PROGRAM INFORMATION

Audience: Participation in this virtual forum is limited to egg farm owners and their employees; allied industry stakeholders who support on-farm operational needs; college and university faculty, staff, and students with a research interest related to poultry and/or ventilation; state or national egg farmer association staff; and state or federal government employees with work related to the industry. 

Registration Process: Registration is required by April 28. During registration, an accurate email address is required for the live attendance link and program recordings that will follow. A confirmation email of the registration request will be sent. If you do not receive this confirmation, your registration request was not received. Please try again or contact us with questions. Once attendance is approved, a subsequent email will be sent with the webinar link. Once registered, no cancellation is required for this event if your plans change.

Recording: This event will be recorded. An access link will be emailed to registered attendees within two weeks following the program.

Live Event Timing: Times on the agenda are listed in Eastern U.S. time. Participants need to adjust their individual participation times to meet their needs.
