This workshop will provide participants an opportunity to gain or refresh their knowledge on layer handling and transport. If desired, participants may test for certification within the Poultry Handling & Transport Program. Attendees do not need prior handling or transport experience to attend. Course is suited for complex or building managers, transport and placement personnel, animal care technicians, individuals who oversee training or compliance, or anyone who would be asked during an audit the procedure by which birds should be handled.

This workshop is open to all Egg Industry Issues Forum attendees including: egg farmers and their designated personnel, egg-related allied industry personnel, industry association staff, industry related government officials, and faculty, staff or currently enrolled university students with a poultry emphasis for their area of work/study. All participants will be required to have their name badge on before entering. EIC reserves the right to remove those who are not registered participants with a name badge.
